Contemporary human perception finds itself immediately dependent on mass+media and art's use of film and video is a habitual
phenomenon. But such an 'exchange of experience' is capable of bringing it to a transition on a generally new level when the work
starts to relate to cinematography as well as the fine arts. This is precisely what happened with Viktor Alimpiev's works. His works,
with equal success, are shown at film festivals and art exhibitions. Moreover, his works do not relate to that stylistics of an empha+
sized authorial 'intimate' cinema but rather they are close in spirit to theatrical productions.
