The Second Moscow Biennale of Contemporary Art opens on the first of March. Contemporary art will be displayed to us within the whole month, and one could say that this country will turn into the center of the world art culture for the period. The organization of such an event is an affair of tremendous responsibility. For we must never do it better than other people do it, everything must be just as everywhere, according to the format.

The program of the Second Moscow Biennale of Contemporary Art to be held from March 1 to April 1 at several dozen venues was announced. The theme of the main project, Footnotes: Geopolitics, Markets, Amnesia, will be disclosed by the curators and artists from 30 countries who admit that they are not quite aware of their place in this world.

The Federal Agency for Culture and Cinematography (Roskultura) held the press conference dedicated to the Second Moscow Biennale of Contemporary Art yesterday.
