The black and white 'Dates series' of the Israeli artist, Keren Cytter, consists of seven parts and tells us about the thoughts of the
author herself in the spring and summer of 2004. Each part is a short history played out by two heroes. The themes of the stories
vary from psychological dramas to westerns. This variety of themes is characteristic of Keren Cytter's works in her video works
she combines and simultaneously interprets diverse disciplines and styles, starting with documentary films, classical dramas of
antiquity, comedies, satires, sitcoms, and ending with soap operas, home cinema and musical theatre.
