Starting in 1989, Liu Jianhua uses porcelain for the creation of massive installations. His approach to ceramics allowed him to use
traditional techniques and materials in a new context. 'Reflection in Water' represents a classic example of Liu Jianhua's method.
This project is a sculpture of a spaceship, created from fragments of porcelain. Each part of the sculpture consists of items of
everyday use toys, dishes, computers and home appliances. They were all carried out by the artist with ceramics.
