The camera became for Onur the means for an almost physical immersion in the space of art. She is daringly trying to fix sound in space and time. Attention to artistic details and a thoroughly thought-out light source distinguish her creative method. Fusun Onur can be called the most Turkish of all the masters of video art from that country. She is literally ‘possessed’ by Istanbul: its past and its present. The theme of her favorite city, directly or indirectly, appears in all of her works.
