Dan Perjovski chose the simplest and most economical contemporary art practice- a black-and-white drawing which the artist puts on walls in a spontaneous fashion. He works on impulse, allowing the flow of everyday events to influence the end result. He improvises much like a jazz musician, developing a known melody. The sources are recognizable but they are let through the unique consciousness of the artist. His works are full of humor and at the same time maintain political and artistic poignancy. The content of his works is influenced by the very space in which it is created- its history, architecture, local traditions and culture.
